This is Terre Haute's pride and joy! Do you know what it is? Can you guess?

Give up? It's a coal-gasification plant! We bet you didn't know that! In fact, this is the largest coal-gasification plant in the United States--maybe even the world! We salute! It's brought lots of business to the area! It seems like every time we turn around, there's a new Wendy's or McDonald's or Burger King or Taco Bell or Kentucky Fried Chicken or Popeye's or Shoney's or Western Sizzler opening up! There's good food in Terre Haute! And good-looking folks, too! All those blue-collar workers! Doris thinks they need to bathe a little more, but Ed likes it!

Isn't this pretty? It looks like something out of a storybook you might have read when you were growing up, but it's not--unless you were reading about the Vigo County Courthouse! It's a beautiful building, and it's really old! How old? We don't know! We just know we've never had to visit it! Not even when we got "married!" We hope we don't ever have to! Just look at it! We'd never make it out alive! We'd be put in the slammer for sure! Why? Just because!
