The man responsible for much of my teen rebellion has died from cancer at age 64. I don’t get starstruck as a rule, and there aren’t many people on Planet Earth who’d make me giddy and nervous, but Malcolm McLaren was one of them. Rest in peace, sugar. Rest in peace.

not that he was gay, but reminds me when queer was fun and it wasn’t filled with a glut of spineless, flaccid prigs producing the most trite, rancid rubbish. then again, in the u.s., you can point the finger at burbank and virginia as a start as well as the vegas feeding troughs. no thanks. eye candy and viagra — flaccid prunes indeed. do some people consider that liberation?? a shame their parties suck ass over the years.
